“I recently learned that my life wasn’t just full of surprises; I was experiencing wrestling matches in my consciousness. All of my life experiences, unknown to me at the time; were wrestling matches with “little gods” that I created when I took my focus off of “Almighty God.” Throughout this book, please take note that when not referring to Almighty God, the word “god” is not capitalized. The little gods I created were the gods of: uncertainty, insecurity, pain, pride, lust, greed, status, doubt, fear, sickness, misunderstanding and worry. Eventually, I learned how to overcome the little gods that I continuously put higher than Almighty God.
